|We are having an unusually high number of sick students at this time. We have had confirmed cases of strep and the flu.|
I just want to remind parents of our school sickness policy. A student is not allowed to be in school with a fever greater than 99 degrees, diarrhea, or vomiting. So, if your child has a fever of 100 degrees or greater, diarrhea or vomiting they are not allowed to return to (Continued...)

|Below is an information update from the Stone County Health Department on the Mumps. As of todays date no cases of Mumps have been reported in Stone County.|
Cover your cough or sneeze.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Avoid sharing eating and drinking utensils

|The Jordan Valley Dental Van will be returning to see students at both schools who need dental care. They will see students with NO DENTAL INSURANCE or students with current medicaid or MoHealth Net. They will be here in November.|

|The Stone County Health Department will be doing a Flu Shot Clinic at both our schools on November 4, 2016. The paperwork for this came home in your child's grade card. If you would like him/her to get the shot at school please return the paperwork by November 3, 2016.|
